It was a few days ago that Vikas Guppta came out as bisexual, and in his tweet, he revealed that he falls in love with a human, regardless of their gender. He had also thanked Parth Samthaan and Priyank Sharma for forcing him to come out, and poured his heart out, making a few huge revelations in a 53-minute video. Now, he shared his first pride post, and took the #WomanisPower challenge. Sharing his ‘Gender Swap’ post, he revealed that as a kid, he was teased for being feminine. He further mentioned how he started believing women girls are weak, until he met Ekta Kapoor.
In the video, Vikas Guppta talked out receiving some really positive messages ever since he came out of the closet. However, he said that for every single positive message he gets, at least 50-100 messages are negative. Some of his haters also referred to him as ‘ladki, but Vikas said that he doesn’t feel humiliated by that. He then went on to praise women and their strength. In the lengthy caption, he revealed that as a kid, his classmates and seniors would tease him and call him feminine. “they would laugh on my conversations on my face and walk away saying एक दम जनानी है I really started feeling disgusted and really started believing being called a girl is the worst insult and abuse ever girls are weak and bechari they need to taken care of and protected and I am not like them till I entered #Balajitelefilms 5th floor. And met the opposite of abla bechari etc etc . I met #ektakapoor & rest is myy life ahead,” wrote Vikas.
He said that calling him or anyone a girl, isn’t an isult, but a compliment. “Don’t ever underestimate a boy just cause he is a little feminine and please not all effeminate guys are gay or bisexual #vikasgupta with #lostsouls is #OutandAbout to change his world to good and wants to #BeKind #pridemonth ends #newjourney starts,” wrote Vikas.
Vikas Guppta then nominated Karan Kundrra, Arjun Bijlani, Ravi Dubey for the #WomanisPower challenge, and challenged them to put a Gender swap post as well.
